The world leader in the inline skate market, Rollerblade pioneered the inline skating boom by changing the perception of inline skates. Once seen strictly as an offseason training device for hockey players, inline skates are now a widely accepted lifestyle product that can be used by just about anyone, including professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and fun seekers of all ages. Rollerblade traces its history to 1980, when two hockey-playing Minnesota brothers discovered an inline skate while rummaging through a sporting goods store and decided that this design would make an ideal offseason training tool.
